Redefining COVID-19 disease
Preface: I‘m not a doctor or microbiologist nor a professional researcher. I’m just a fairly smart ‘layman’ with a passion for medicine and a desire to stop this disease or find a treatment. I’m probably using imperfect terminology, but what follows is my attempt to make sense of some new data and evidence that this disease may not be what assumed. Over the last few days there’s been a bit of an undercurrent of chatter about the need to look at this disease from a different angle. Much of what follows is a combination of listening carefully to that undercurrent, filtering the noise, and then connecting some dots.
